School Uniform Guidelines

General Expectations:

• All students are expected always to wear the correct school uniform.

• A written note from a parent or guardian is required for any deviation from the uniform policy.

• All uniform items must be clearly named.

• Second-hand uniforms may be available; please contact the school office for inquiries.

Uniform Items:

• Shorts and skorts are available for purchase at the school office.

• Winter uniform socks are widely available.

• Years 7 & 8 students may wear the alternative navy cap.

Summer Sun Protection:

• Students are encouraged to apply sunscreen at home before school.

• All students must wear the school hat outdoors during breaks.

• "No hat – play in the shade" is the school's sun safety policy.

Personal Appearance:

• Hair must be neat, tidy, and of a natural colour.

• Long hair must be tied back and kept off the face.

• Nail polish is not permitted. Fingernails should be clean and well-maintained.

Jewellery and Valuables:

• To minimise the risk of loss, damage, or injury, rings, bracelets, and other non-permitted jewellery should not be worn at school.

• The school accepts no responsibility for lost, damaged, or injured property.

• Permitted jewellery:

  • One pair of stud earrings.

  • A watch.

  • One plain chain, pendant, or bone carving of religious or cultural significance worn under clothing.

• Any exceptions to these guidelines are at the Principal's discretion.
