The Board of Trustees plays a vital role in the governance and strategic direction of our school, fulfilling seven essential areas of responsibility. Firstly, they are tasked with the development and ongoing review of the school charter, a foundational document that outlines the school's vision, values, and goals, ensuring it remains relevant and reflective of the community's needs. Secondly, the Board diligently monitors and reviews the school's progress, analysing data and performance indicators to ensure students are achieving their full potential and that the school is meeting its educational objectives. Thirdly, they establish and maintain a comprehensive policy framework, providing clear guidelines and procedures for all aspects of school operations, promoting a safe and effective learning environment. Fourthly, the Board is responsible for the crucial task of employing the principal and selecting a leader who will drive the school's success and uphold its values. Fifthly, they manage the school's assets, ensuring responsible stewardship of financial and physical resources to support the delivery of quality education. Sixthly, the Board ensures the school's legal compliance, staying abreast of relevant legislation and regulations to maintain a secure and lawful environment.
