Our school was so taken by the devastation left in Christchurch following the earthquake on 22nd February, that we knew this Lent we needed to do something.
As this is meaningful to our children and close to home, our school Lenten Appeal this year is for the Catholic communities affected by the earthquake.
We are running a Bookathon during Week 9, 10 and 11 to raise money for those in need.

Though our Appeal is for those in Christchurch, our thoughts and prayers are also with those affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami disaster in Japan.
Don't forget!! There are also others less fortunate than us living in other parts of the world and agencies such as Caritas are immense support.
