Kia ora!
I am a mother of a one year old boy, a wife of a IT technician, a sister to two younger siblings and a daughter of teaching parents. Before starting my teaching career, I tutored primary school Kapa Haka for a number of years. This group was very successful, all but taking out regional competitions and qualifying for national level competition. This continues to be a passion of mine. I graduated from Massey University in 2004 and kicked off my career in the Mighty Manawatu. Having an inclusive classroom environment where everyone feels loved and respected is hugely important in Room 4. We all have our God given talents and in our class we are given opportunities to share these and truly shine! Kia ora ra!
Teacher
I have recently been appointed to the position of Year 5/6 teacher at St Josephs Primary School starting Term One, 2010. I have just completed my Graduate Diploma in Primary Education at Waikato University. Prior to undertaking my diploma I travelled overseas for five years, working in Australia and teaching English as a second language in South Korea and Japan. My interests include cooking, kite flying, reading and spending time with friends and family. I look forward to working at St Josephs, and becoming part of the Te Aroha community in the New Year
